Following the United Nations blueprint of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) which was adopted by member states in 2015 and aims to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure peace, our goal was to provide a data driven approach to evaluating and infering nontrivial causes of poverty as well as find new trends in the available data using artificial intelligence. The paper was a joint project with myself, J. Pita Costa, M. Grobelnik, Jan Sturm, Matej Kovačič, Matej Senožetnik, John Shawe-Taylor and department head Dunja Mladenić.
